Description

A DR (Digital Radiography) system is a modern medical imaging technology used to capture X-ray images digitally. Unlike traditional film-based radiography, which requires chemical processing of X-ray films, DR systems use digital detectors to directly capture and convert X-ray photons into electronic signals. These signals are then processed by a computer to generate high-quality digital images of the anatomical structures being examined. DR systems offer several advantages over film-based radiography, including faster image acquisition, improved image quality, lower radiation dose to patients, and enhanced image manipulation and storage capabilities. DR systems are widely used in hospitals, clinics, and imaging centers for a variety of diagnostic applications, including chest X-rays, skeletal imaging, and trauma evaluations.
